Atmospheric nanoparticles are directly related to climate change and affect human health, the life of cultural monuments, earth biodiversity and air visibility when found in high concentration. In order to better understand their structure, morphology and behaviour, the research team at the Laboratory of Statistical Thermodynamics and Macromolecules, University of Patras, performs simulations on GRNET HPC ARIS system using the molecular dynamics computational method. The results of the experiments help to anticipate and take measures to reduce air pollution.
