AARC training for life sciences improves understanding of authentication and authorisation infrastructures

Representatives from several life science communities welcomed the AARC project’s training team towards the end of April. The team delivered basic concepts about AAI (authentication and authorisation infrastructures) and its benefits, with a focus on the new AAI for life sciences that is being piloted in AARC.

Around 16 participants from BBMRI, ELIXIR, Euro-Bioimaging, INFRAFRONTIER, INSTRUCT and CORBEL joined the two-half-days workshop in Munich, on 23-24 April. The AARC event was followed by a further one-day training by ELIXIR, on more technical aspects of connecting to the ELIXIR infrastructure.
